Letters Home
14.07.2020
Dear Parent/Carer,
As you know, we try hard to keep parents regularly informed about what’s going on at school by way of paper letters, emails, the weekly newsletter, our school website, etc. During the COVID-19 situation we have primarily communicated with parents via email and the school website and we have found this to be successful.
Sending paper letters home can be rather ‘hit and miss’ with letters often going astray! We are increasingly aware of the substantial cost and environmental impact associated with the amount of paper and photocopying involved when paper letters are sent home. Therefore, from September 2020 letters shall be sent home via email and not paper letter. We have attempted to contact parents who we do not currently have an email address on file for, so we can obtain this, but it would be helpful if you could share this letter on any social media pages/groups that you may have with other parents in your child’s class, so we can reach as many parents as possible. Letters will also continue to be put on the school website under the Parent >Letters Home section, so you can additionally access them from the website.
Email messages from our School Comms system are sent from SC8872020a@schoolcomms.com. Please ensure this email address is added to your approved email address list to prevent messages from being blocked by your SPAM/JUNK filters. It is imperative that you advise us if your email address changes (or telephone number or address), so we can ensure our records are up to date to enable us to communicate with you regarding your child.
Kind regards
Maundene Primary School
